| What will I never forget about CHS: | Fabulous art classes, hanging out in the first floor girls room, avoiding Mr. Pikey, the streaker, finding a joint right in the middle of a hallway, how'd we get such a good education? |

| Where did I go after CHS? | Mom & I moved to Dallas in '75 where I had culture shock during my senior year. Attended SW Texas State (party school) in San Marcos for a few years, then UT in Austin. Got Married in 1979 and started a family in New Braunfels. Juggled kids, a Stained Glass business & retail store in TX. Then moved to Illinois for 9 yrs. & continued with glass, grew up spiritually & kept the family together. Ron's family is all in Texas so we moved back to NB about 7 yrs. ago, when I switched to Glass beadmaking (much smaller glass art than the large architectural pieces I used to do). I travel with that business but mainly manage online sales & dream about working less & spending summers in Colorado someday. Grown kids are a trip! |
